Single channel transmission is by far the most cost effective
solution for Local Area Systems where all the cameras are
within a few kilometres of the control room. One of the most successful of the AMG product ranges
is the Vision™ Series - a product range capable of
transmitting video, audio and data signals over multimode
optical fibre, to a maximum distance of 4km (at 850nm) and
8km (at 1300nm).
Dual or single fibre variants
The
Vision™ 2000 range is available as either dual or
single fibre variants and offers a comprehensive range of
audio and data interfaces. The inclusion of an auto gain
control within the AMG receivers has made the Vision™
2000 range true 'PLUG ‘n PLAY' system, and this built-in
reliability and flexibility, combined with the ease of installation
has propelled AMG’s Vision™ series to the forefront
of the video transmission industry. All cards are housed
in metal robust enclosures for maximum protection. All products
are further available in stand alone or in standard 19”

Limited fibre
availability
For applications where fibre availability is limited,
AMG provides the Vision™ 2000 S range for transmission

Local area coverage up to 8 km
Our Vision™ 2000 L product range is suitable for applications
which require up to 8 km distances for transmission of video,
audio and data signals over multimode fibre.
Vision™ is also
available with a product range for transmission over singlemode
fibre for distances in excess of 60km. Using digital technology,
Vision™ 2900A series
allows for virtually limitless repeated distances.
